I am writing this letter to you on behalf of the residents of our locality to kindly visit our colony and see for yourself the deplorable condition in which we have to live.
The drains in our locality lie uncovered and this leads to the spread of a most unhygienic and unhealthy air around. The entire area is filled with a foul smell. Several manholes also lie uncovered and this can be dangerous for the people walking on the road and the children who play around. The open-drainage system attracts flies and other insects and thus can become a cause for further health hazards. our locality’s roads to are in a sorry state and no effort has been made by the municipal authority to repair them in the past almost seven years. The result is that the roads are uneven with a number of open in holes. And this problem assumes a truly difficult form in the rainy season.
Therefore, we, the residents of Prashant Vihar, request you to pay a surprise visit to our area and take necessary action to remedy the situation.
