My dear Aju,
Your annual examinations are at hand. You must be feeling extremely worried and anxious. My dear, you need not worry at all on this account.
I am giving you some important instructions with regard to your Preparation. Being your senior I have a special duty towards you. On the basis of my own experience, I can speak with confidence that these examinations are as easy as a child’s play. Only a few useful hints axe to be followed quite sincerely and rigorously.
You should develop the habit of working on your books, notebooks and guides in right earnest. Depend on good and important books. It is no Use to have a heap of books and start yawning. A few good books are dependable. Follow the advice of your teachers in letter and spirit. Do not miss your class at any cost. Be regular and punctual. Take a little exercise every day. It will keep your body fit and alert. Do not read one subject for hours together. It breeds boredom. Change of subjects means variety and interest. Read up to 10.00 p.m. and then go to bed. Rise early in the morning and do serious studies. It is the best time for memory work.
Do not be so serious. A book-worm is as bad as an ass. Read little but concentrate and contemplate (think deeply) much.
This is a golden rule of memorising facts.
Rest in my next letter.
Your loving brother,
Manish
