I hope you are enjoying your college life and studying well. I received Mom’s letter yesterday. She was quite alarmed to notice your growing expenditure. Let me tell you how important it is to save money.
It’s not that we want you to put an end to all your shopping. However, we do expect that you buy things that you actually need. Don’t just blow up money on shopping sprees. You are just a student right now and don’t have any financial liabilities. But when you step into the real world later, you would require money not only to pay your bills but also to make your own future security.
It takes a minute to spend money but years to save it. In future, your collection of clothes or accessories wouldn’t count but the more money you accumulate and save, the easier it would become for you to sustain a decent living.
In the end, I would just like to say that do spend your pocket money but sensibly.
