The Chairman,

Admission Committee,

 I.I.T., Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

Sub: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Sir,

Today it is an age of science and technology. Our country is steeped in utter poverty. It badly needs doctors, technocrats and engineers. They can change the shape of present-day India. They are the real architects of the fate of modem India. The future of the country lies safely in their deft’ hands.

Now we no longer need typists or the people well-versed in shorthand. We have plenty of them. They have added to the rank of the unemployed. The market is over-flooded with them. These white-collared Babus are looked down upon by the general masses. They do not approve of them. They are regarded as very inferior in the rung of the social ladder.

I have chosen a diploma course in Electrical Engineering. It has a bright( future. The prospects of an engineer of this trade are top-ranking. Heytands head and shoulders above the rest of his engineer brethren. It brings you to par with doctors and other fellows of similar trades.

An Electrical Engineer gets the offer of a job while he is still under training. He is paid a handsome remuneration (pay). He earns a lot of name and fame. Besides, he is a social asset. He is the real wealth of the country. He is fully responsible for the engineering growth of the country. Hence, my choice of the said course. Please help me by giving admission to this course.

Thanks,

Yours faithfully,
